An inquest’s concluded two anglers, who died off the coast of the Island last summer, did so as a result of an accident.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham today heard a second day of evidence into the deaths of Harold Faragher, a retired MEA Supervisor from Bride, and Stewart Curphey, a retired builder from Andreas.
The bodies of the two 66 year olds were found by lifeboat crews on July 27 after huge search operation.
They’d been fishing near Blue Point on the Northwest coast.
At Douglas Courthouse this afternoon, Mr Needham recorded a verdict of accidental death by salt water drowning.
