A Liberal Vannin general election candidate in Onchan says the party doesn't see itself as opposition, so much as a government in waiting.
Zac Hall, 33, who is a qualified airline pilot, says he has a long-held ambition to enter the world of politics and feels Lib Van has evolved and matured into a credible political party.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Talking Heads, Mr Hall told Stuart Peters the party had a framework in place to make a far more significant contribution (listen to audio file below):
The other candidates who have declared in Onchan so far are local commissioners June Kelly and Brian Stowell, and outgoing MHKs Adrian Earnshaw, Peter Karran and David Quirk.
