A Manx resident who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer his early 20's will take on the Parish Walk on crutches.
Adam Knight was 23-year-old when doctors informed him he had stage three spindle cell sarcoma resulting in chemotherapy and revision surgery.
But last year, after 13 years in pain and a septic infection, he decided to amputate his leg.
He then found the Wooden Spoon Wheelchair Sports Club in which members supported and helped him to adapt.

As a means of raising funds and awareness for the club, Mr Knights is attempting his first Parish Walk later this month.
So far he has raised over £2,000 for the Wooden Spoon Wheelchair Sports Club:
