Second reading of bill to take place in House of Keys
Technical amendments need to be made to the Charities Registration and Regulation law for it to be fit for purpose.
So says Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas.
The bill was brought to the Legislative Council for technical review last year.
However, after a number of attempted amendments made by Tanya August-Hansen MLC, a second reading of it will take place in the House of Keys this week.
Mr Thomas says additions are being made to update the old law:
