Service will hear from refugees and an activist in the West Bank
An event aiming to take a different look at Christmas, and those whose celebrations will be affected by conflict, takes place in Douglas this evening (5 December)
St Thomas's Church in Douglas is hosting 'Alternativity' - it will feature hymns with alternative lyrics focussing on countries impacted by war.
The service, organised by Churches Alive in Mann, will also hear from a Christian Palestinian activist based in the West Bank and children from Ukraine who are currently living on the Island as refugees.
It starts at 7.30pm.
