Meeting to discuss Ballacriy Park postponed while options cost is calculated
An alternative way to install telecoms cables in the road rather than overhead at a housing estate in the south of the Island is being looked at by Manx Telecom.
A meeting to discuss the erection of poles at Ballacriy Park that was due to take place on Thursday has been postponed while microducting is priced up.
It's thought the option could be cheaper than the £130,000 it would cost to have the infrastructure fully underground.
