DEFA minister admits it's 'disappointing'
Almost two tonnes (1859kg) of meat has been disposed of at the Isle of Man Meat Plant since the beginning of this month.
It's being blamed on errors with stock management which saw some produce go past its shelf life.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is the voting shareholder in the organisation which processes around 1.95 million kilograms of meat each year.
