Figures reveal number of birds, hares and rabbits killed at airport
Almost 900 animals have been culled at Ronaldsway airport since 2019.
Figures published in response to a Freedom of Information request show just over 700 birds were killed, including herring gull, pheasant and rook.
Just under 200 hares and rabbits were dealt with during the same timeframe.
The response to the request also confirmed the airport no longer traps birds prior to culling, but this technique was used in 2019 when 11 birds were captured before being killed.
