Ramsey MHK says dispensing service is important 'first move'

Doctors on the Isle of Man need to be educated about the potential benefits of medicinal cannabis.

That’s the view of Ramsey MHK, and doctor, Alex Allinson who was instrumental in changing Manx law to allow it to be dispensed.

Last week people were able to, for the first time, able to put in prescriptions for the drug through Karsons Pharmacy in Onchan.

It’s a private service but Dr Allinson has told Manx Radio it’s a very important ‘first move’ in allowing people to access alternative medicine:
