That's despite repeated overspends being brought to Treasury
Treasury Minister Alex Allinson has told Manx Radio he believes government departments do have the incentive to stay within budget.
That’s despite a number of them – as well as Manx Care - predicted to record overspends in the current financial year.
It's not the first time the health body has had to ask Treasury for more money.
Two MHKs are calling for a member of Tynwald to be appointed to shadow the Manx Care board as a way of reforming healthcare.
One of them is Garff representative, and Treasury member, Andrew Smith.
Dr Allinson told Manx Radio he has made the position clear:
