Northern Irish leader 'knowledgeable' on Manx affairs
Former Chief Minister Alan Bell says Martin McGuinness 'knew a considerable amount about the Isle of Man' when he first met him, as part of the British Irish Council.
The former IRA chief and Deputy First Minister has died at the age of 66.
Mr Bell chaired meetings of the Council during his political career, and met Mr McGuinness on a number of occasions.
He said the then Northern Irish leader was a 'useful and knowlegeable' contributor to debates:
