
Environment Minister Phil Gawne says he’s hopeful a working group can find a cost-effective way to tackle coastal erosion in Kirk Michael.
The group will meet early next month and brings together representatives from the community, commissioners and government.
Mr Gawne says there are well-documented ways of protecting exposed coasts from erosion – but they’re too costly for the government to consider.
But he says the group will consider any idea, and explain its thinking to the public:
