Stress and concern are prevalent in industry, says farmer
The Royal Manx Agricultural Show continues today (Saturday 8 August) at Knockaloe Farm.
One of the largest events in the farming calendar on the Island, thousands of people are expected to head through the gates to take in the entertainment, food and drinks stalls and show events on offer.
But the show also highlights the effort which goes into the agricultural sector from our Island's farmers, who are calling for more support.
Appearing on Mannin Line yesterday (Friday 7 August), Sam Morrey told Andy Wint there's a lot of stress and concern in the wider industry:
Traffic restrictions are in place on the Peel to Glen Maye Road and Patrick Road.
More than 30 Hospice staff opt for voluntary redundancy or reduced hours
Over 350 birds culled since 2022
