Island to welcome heritage rail operators from around the UK
Nearly 100 representatives from Heritage Railways across the UK are set to steam onto the Island for a special event this weekend.
Groudle Glen Railway, supported by the Isle of Man's Heritage Railways, is hosting the 61st annual Narrow Gauge Railway Staff Get Together.
The networking event will include a packed programme that showcases the Island's vintage rail network, including a trip on the Steam Railway dining car and a trip to the Bungalow.
Trevor Nall of Groudle Glen Railway says the event wouldn’t be on track without the backing of the government-owned railways:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
Ramsey Commissioners to spend more than £8k on deckchairs and storage unit
