British branches of the supermarket giants planning over 90 more stores combined in 2027
Two supermarket giants in the UK are set to open more than 90 stores combined in 2027.
Reports from Reuters say Aldi announced a £900 million investment for 40 new outlets, while Lidl have plans for 50 new branches next year.
It's not yet confirmed where these stores are likely to be.
Aldi in the past didn't want to rule out the possibility of opening a shop here on the Island.
