Meeting in Douglas later
The findings of a major new study which aims to understand alcohol and substance misuse among older people in the Island will be released this evening (Monday).
Addiction service Motiv8 will present the results of the assessment, funded by the Manx Lottery Trust.
The charity spoke to a variety of local groups and individuals who work on the 'frontline' with older people to look at the issues and challenges the section of the population is facing
Topics included the future demand for specialist nursing care, mental health and physical wellbeing.
The presentation will be held at the iMuseum in Douglas at 5.30pm.
