Follows death of 85-year-old pedestrian in November
Police are to shut Albany Road in Peel this evening (Thursday, 14 December) to reconstruct a collision which resulted in the death of an elderly pedestrian.
85-year-old Geoffrey Hughes sustained fatal injuries there on 24 November.
The Roads Policing Unit will shut the road from the junction with Tynwald Road to Derby Road to carry out the investigations between 8pm and 10pm.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, and emergency access will be available; special arrangements have also been made to facilitate bus services.
