Charity aghast over airport's 'broken promise'
An Island charity say it's devastated after the promise of a dedicated transfer room for Manx patients at Liverpool John Lennon Airport has been withdrawn.
Officials from the airport had confirmed the space would be made available after extensive lobbying by the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group
The charity had already prepared logos and decorations, but was informed via email that the room is now no longer available.
Airport bosses have yet to comment on the change of heart.
