Minister defiant over approach
Air quality on the Isle of Man is not compromising the health of its residents.
That's according to Environment Minister Geoffrey Boot.
He was answering a question from Douglas North MHK Ralph Peake.
In a letter to ministers prior to today's sitting of Tynwald, Minister Boot revealed data collected by his Department in April from five sites on the Island.
The Minister stressed the Island's air quality is adequate and told the court he believes his snapshot approach of testing every 2 years is 'quite sufficient comittment'.
