Publishing company good fit says AFD boss
Ramsey-based software firm AFD Group has moved into publishing.
The group has acquired Lion Hudson, an Oxford-based company, whose childrens' titles are published worldwide.
It's a new dawn for the publisher, which hit difficulties three years ago when risk-averse banks withdrew facilities, forcing the £4 million annual turnover outfit into administration.
AFD boss David Dorricott has welcomed Lion Hudson to the Group's family of businesses, which embrace the founders Christian values.
And he says despite seeming an unusual addition to the AFD stable, a publishing arm of the AFD family will be of great benefit.
