Advocate warns against changing legal aid

Government consultation currently open

There is no need to alter the current legal aid system.

That's the view of local advocate Stephen Wood who has already made a submission to the government consultation on the matter.

He is a member of the duty advocate committee and says 95% of his work is legal aid.
