Hopes for agreement review
A banded system for gas bills has been branded ‘flawed’ by customers who claim their payments have increased.
A gathering later this month will see campaigners voice their unhappiness over the pricing system, introduced 20 months ago.
As a result, dozens feel they are paying more in charges than they should be.
Barry Murphy, from the Manx Gas Standing Charges and Cost Facebook group, hopes their concerns will lead to the agreement – which runs until December 2018 - being reviewed:
Government engaging with UK over international ferry levy plans
Isle of Man won't be affected by July 2026 changes to domestic voyages
Bottleneck car park shut over safety concerns
Council cites increased risk of storm surges as winds shift overnight
Higher routes such as Mountain Road could be affected by slight accumulations
Dementia demand assessment underway as Public Health forecasting future need
Figures suggest Island prevalence of 0.7 percent, as government acknowledges demand likely to rise due to aging population
