Active travel member wants to ensure Manx cyclists feel safe

Peel Road-style cycle lanes have come in for criticism

The Isle of Man needs to find a solution to make cyclists feel safe on Manx roads.

That's according to the political member responsible for active travel.

Olympic champion cyclist Chris Boardman has recently criticised cycle lanes like those on Peel Road that only separate riders from traffic by a white line.
