DHSC 'moved quickly' to find new homes for those affected
Residents at a nursing home in the south of the Island are due to be moved to new accommodation tomorrow.
The Island's health department announced over the weekend that those living at Abbotswood will be relocated elsewhere following the recent coronavirus outbreak at the facility.
A total of 47 people tested positive for Covid-19 at the home, while 19 have died as a result of the condition.
When asked why relatives weren't given more notice, Health Minister David Ashford said the plans had come together quickly:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
