Shock at death of former MHK
A popular Tynwald colleague and an effective parliamentarian.
That is how the former Middle MHK and government minister Martyn Quayle has been described by president Steve Rodan.
Mr Quayle, who served two terms in the constituency between 2001 and 2011, has passed away at the age of 57.
He had been in a critical care unit at a hospital in Walton since sustaining injuries in a fall a fortnight ago.
MLC David Anderson, who knew him politically and personally, says he was a trusted colleague.
