'A little bit of help': Baby loss comfort bags delivered to Noble's Hospital

Head of midwifery says packages will have a big impact

Thirty baby loss comfort bags have been donated to Noble's Hospital from a UK based charity this week.

CRADLE, which has partnered with over 80 hospitals, delivered the donation which include a support letter, links to the charity's services and toiletries.

 

Regan Baggley, Head of Midwifery and Senior Matron at the hospital, hopes it will be 'a little bit of help' at a difficult time:

According to CRADLE one in four people experience baby loss. 

This can happen during pregnancy or shortly afterwards due to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or termination for medical reasons.

Whilst on Island CRADLE, and a number of other charities, met at Acclaim to fill the comfort bags with the toiletries provided by the corporate service provider.
