Treasury Minister confirms it won't be paid back
More than £90 million was taken out of the Isle of Man’s National Insurance Fund during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the House of Keys this week the treasury minister confirmed there are no plans to replace this money.
It was used to support two initiatives - the Manx Earnings Replacement Allowance and the Salary Support Scheme – which helped those who found themselves out of work.
