Donated by the Isle of Man Government
Eight hundred thousand pounds is being donated to the World Health Organisation to help support Covid-19 work overseas.
The money is part of the Isle of Man's international development budget and will be used in Madagascar and South Africa.
It will go towards vaccine roll out and work to suppress transmission, protect the vulnerable and reduce mortality and morbidity.
Madagascar was chosen due to Manx efforts to support small islands and countries ranked as 'low development' on the UN human development index.
South Africa was picked to reflect the Island's cultural, historical and business links.
