Island joins minute silence at 11.30am

The Isle of Man is to join the United Kingdom in observing a minute's silence today, to mark the 10th anniversary of the July 7th London bombings.

The Cabinet Office has called the tribute to be made at 1130 this morning, as a national silence is held in Britain, during a service at St Paul's cathedral.

It's hoped Island residents will pause to remember the 52 people who died when bombs exploded on three tube trains and a London bus in 2005.  

On Friday the Island joined the UK in a minute's silence at noon, to mark the loss of 30 British lives in the terror attack in Tunisia.
