Funds moved from the heritage rail budget
The infrastructure minister has dismissed claims his department is trying to 'sneak in' changes to the promenade scheme.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge raised concerns about increased spending of £750,000 on top of what had already been approved.
She also noted it was coming out the heritage rail budget, and questioned if the ultimate intention was to remove the single track to the Sea Terminal.
But Tim Baker was quick to rebut this suggestion, saying this uplift to the schemes budget had been made very clear:
