70 per cent of Covid patients under 80 unvaccinated

Quayle reveals hospital admission information

Seventy per cent of the people in hospital with Covid-19 yesterday (4 August), who were under the age of 80, had not been vaccinated.

There are currently 13 people at Noble's Hospital who have the virus.

Howard Quayle confirmed that based on figures at the end of Wednesday – when he claimed there were 16 people in hospital with Coronavirus – 10 were under the age of 80.

Seven of these people were unvaccinated.

Yesterday's dashboard update showed there were 18 people in hospital.
