61 babies born on Isle of Man in September

September's figure is up 23 in comparison to the previous month.

Sixty-one babies were born on the Isle of Man throughout September.

The Jane Crookall Maternity Unit described it as a 'busy month'.

Thirty-three boys and 28 girls were born - the heaviest baby weighed in at 4.6kg and the lightest weighed 1.1kg. 

There were no sets of twins born. 

It's encouraging new parents to share photos of their new-borns via Facebook.
