Manx Telecom’s managing director says launching a 4G network will mark a major step forward for the company.
Yesterday, the firm signed a deal with a Chinese technology giant to build the next-generation network which can support superfast mobile broadband.
Mike Dee says the new infrastructure provided by Huawei will mean MT’s customers can start using 4G on compatible devices next year.
He says it’s a major progression for both the company and the Isle of Man:
