32-year-old told he'd lost good character
A Douglas man who got into a drunken row with door staff at the casino has been told he might face a pub ban if he commits a similar offence in future.
Thirty-two-year-old Curt James Kinrade, of Honeysuckle Lane, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly - a charge of assault was withdrawn.
The court heard Kinrade had been drinking in the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino on 8 April.
In the early hours of the morning security staff asked him to leave because he'd been rude towards workers.
Kinrade refused and started a struggle which ended with him being restrained and police being called.
Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks told Kinrade he'd lost his previous good character because of his behaviour.
He fined him £400 and ordered him to pay £125 towards prosecution costs.
