17 boys and 21 girls welcomed into the world last month
Thirty-eight babies were born at Noble’s Hospital in August.
Statistics from the Jane Crookall Maternity Unit show 17 boys and 21 girls were delivered.
Two of the births were pre-term and 19 were spontaneous; the lightest baby weighed in at 1.3 kilograms with the heaviest at four kilograms.
Meanwhile, 791 antenatal and postnatal appointments were carried out over the course of the month.
Data shows there hasn’t been a set of twins born on the Island since February.
