30 applications from Ukrainians made so far

10 via family pathway and 20 using sponsorship route

Thirty applications have been submitted by people from Ukraine who want to seek sanctuary on the Isle of Man.

The war there has been raging for almost 40 days – millions of people have fled the country, or become internally displaced in it, since.

The Isle of Man's Homes for Ukraine scheme opened last month – it's being overseen by the Cabinet Office: 

Minister Kate Lord-Brennan says more than 250 offers of accommodation have been put forward by the public - contact is now being made with potential hosts.
