Clocked up over five days in December
Almost 228 hours of overtime were clocked up by government’s gritting teams over five days this month.
The Department of Infrastructure carried out planned, and reactive, gritting between 8 December and 12 December.
On the latter date the DoI had around 9,000 tonnes of salt in stock.
The information has been released as part of a Freedom of Information response.
