Keys debate sees MHKs attempt to intervene in rollout
The infrastructure minister has rebutted two attempts to transfer the lead in the 20mph speed limits debate into other hands.
In the House of Keys, Chris Thomas brought forward a motion attempting to make the chief minister responsible for the scheme.
Meanwhile, Onchan MHK Julie Edge sought to get the decision put back into Tynwald.
Both failed.
Minister, Michelle Haywood, told John Moss it's right she takes the lead:
A second drop-in session will be held at the Sea Terminal today (Wednesday 25 June) between 3:30-7pm for people to give their views to the minister on the proposed 20mph scheme.
