49th annual event to take place this afternoon
The 2020 World Tin Bath Championships are set to get underway in Castletown this afternoon.
The 49th annual event is due to start at 14:30, with competitors racing the length of the harbour.
Despite Storm Ellen threatening poor weather conditions over the weekend, organisers said the event should go by unscaved in the 'sheltered' middle harbour.
Hosted by the Castletown Ale Drinkers Society, each year the event raises money for local charities.
