Mayor fronts event at Strand Centre
The Mayor of Douglas John Skinner has launched the 2016 Royal British Legion poppy appeal.
In a short address at the Strand Centre in Douglas he spoke of how the appeal served to honour those who had lost their lives in conflict and support those who survived but whose lives have been affected by war.
The event was attended by members of the Isle of Man Army cadet force.
