42 inmates tested after outbreak at Jurby
Twenty inmates at the Isle of Man Prison are currently infected with Covid-19.
A total of 42 prisoners had PCR tests yesterday after lateral flow devices identified several cases on Sunday.
Two wings are currently operating under the prison's black regime, with no visitors allowed at the facility.
Deputy governor Martin Phillips says it's the ninth time the prison has locked down since the start of the pandemic, but those affected understand the need for measures:
