MLC believes abuse went further than Knottfield
An MLC says there's reason to believe a paedophile ring existed on the Isle of Man in the 1970s.
Yesterday (Thurs 3), Kerry Sharpe gave evidence to the Tynwald committee tasked with investigating historical child abuse at Knottfield Care Home in Douglas.
The committee also heard from two former residents of the home, who were victims of physical, mental and sexual abuse as children.
Mrs Sharpe thinks the abuse stretched far further than Knottfield, though.
