FOI reveals figure for 16/17
Manx motorists paid out more than £12 million in road tax during the last financial year.
Figures revealed via freedom of information request show the department of infrastructure collected £12,601,457.
The request was lodged on the 15 December.
Vehicle duties for the next year were increased by six per cent after being given Tynwald approval in June.
It's expected the Department of Infrastructure will be launching a consultation on the issue.
