Figures show money spent over last five years
More than £123,000 has been spent on providing media and public speaking advice to government ministers in the last five years.
The figure was released in response to a Tynwald question tabled by Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.
Almost £79,000 was paid out in the 2018/2019 financial year - the highest amount in the five year period.
No money has been spent so far this year and nothing has been spent on external speech writing.
Ten full time staff members work in the government’s central communications service.
