Manx Utilities estimates price rise will mean customers pay an extra £14 per year
Electricity prices on the Isle of Man have increased from today.
A 1.5 percent increase to Manx Utilities' tariffs is now in force, alongside a 2.9 percent rise to water and wastewater charges.
The authority says the uplift is below the inflation rate that would normally apply to limit the impact on energy customers.
It estimates that the increase will mean the average domestic customer pays an extra £14 per year.
