Organisers Scenic Car Tours, who many of you will know from September’s annual Festival of Motoring, are bringing 50 Classic and Sports Cars to the Island this May, from a 1949 MG TC,  1963 Triumph TR4s, all the way though to modern Morgans and Porsches; plenty of variety for all tastes and preferences, so come and see the cars free of charge!

Taking place across multiple scenic locations between 08-10 May, the event offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience old and new vehicles up close, from vintage classics to contemporary models. Displays, convoy drives, and social gatherings will take place across the island, creating a dynamic and engaging experience for participants and spectators alike.

Scenic Car Tours would like to encourage as many Island residents as possible to come and see the cars for free, in the following locations:

Where to see the cars, and when

Friday 08 May – Fenella Beach, Peel – 1200-1400

Saturday 09 May – Isle of Man Motor and Transport Museums – 1000-1400

Saturday 09 May – TT Grandstand – 1400-1600

The Isle of Man Classic & Sports Car Weekend forms part of the wider Isle of Man Festival of Motoring events organised by Scenic Car Tours, with the main September festival being a fast-growing annual celebration that has become a must-attend event for car enthusiasts. Since its launch in 2021, the festival has attracted hundreds of vehicles and visitors, contributing significantly to the island’s tourism and showcasing visitors our world-famous driving roads and visitor attractions.

With the annual Mini-Ford weekend in April, the respective Classic and Sports Car and Porsche Weekends in May, all in addition to the September Festival, these events are now bringing close to £1million to the local economy annually, not only in ferry and accommodation spend, but discretionary spend on souvenirs, bars and restaurants throughout these long weekends.

Kieran Line, one of the senior organisers of Scenic Car Tours, says: "The Isle of Man offers some of the most scenic and exhilarating driving routes in the British Isles, making it the perfect backdrop for this celebration. We would like to encourage as many Isle of Man residents to come and see the cars over the weekend, free of charge – if anyone has a Classic or Sports Car and wishes to join in, please contact us at admin@sceniccartours.com or see Scenic Car Tours or the Isle of Man Festival of Motoring on Facebook."

With its combination of iconic cars, spectacular scenery, and a welcoming community atmosphere, the Classic & Sports Car weekend promises to be a standout event for both participants and spectators.
