The Isle of Man’s unique parliamentary democracy will be celebrated at the formal open-air proceedings of Tynwald Court on Tynwald Hill on Monday 7th July 2025.

Tynwald Day is a unique expression of the Island’s heritage, culture and traditions. Following hundreds of years of tradition, a service will be held at St John’s in the Royal Chapel before the promulgation of Manx laws on Tynwald Hill.
Tynwald Day also provides a vibrant celebration of our community, with activities happening in and around St. John’s before and after the formal Ceremony, showcasing our culture, creativity and local enterprise.
The entertainment on Tynwald Day is always a focal point for families and friends with activities scheduled throughout the day with the stalls on the back Fairfield opening from 9am; the Family Craft Tent, the Viking Village in Cooil-y-Ree, the Bunscoill and the Global Village in the Arboretum, all welcome visitors from 10am.
Activities run all day! Tynwald Day will end with a performance at 10pm by Ellan Vannin Pipes & Drums playing on the Hill supported by Skimmee Aile providing a striking visual to accompany them.
