All are welcome to this FREE Manx Gaelic Christmas song workshop on Saturday 8th November from 11am - 12pm taking place at Thie dy Vea retreat house in Peel.
No prior knowledge of Manx is necessary as this workshop is aimed at complete beginners. While the workshop is primarily aimed at adults (16+), young people aged 11-16 are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
Ruth Keggin Gell will lead the one-hour workshop, guiding participants through some simple Christmas songs in Manx Gaelic. Songs will be taught by ear, but printed lyrics will be provided.
As well as holding the position of Yn Greinneyder (Culture Vannin's Manx Language Development Officer), Ruth is a critically-acclaimed Manx Gaelic singer, and a qualified and experienced teacher.
