An online event, open to everyone on the Isle of Man and beyond. On Tuesday 1 December 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM (18:00-20:00 CET), a free meeting in English opens the LOOKS campaign. You can join from home - there is no fee and no registration.
LOOKS is an educational and cultural project about appearance and aesthetics, and its foundation is oral health. It asks how the face develops over a lifetime and why the smile carries so much weight in the way people see one another. Documentary film, animation and fine art are the tools it uses to tell that story.
The meeting presents the project, its educational aims and the materials it shares openly. The campaign includes a feature documentary and an online series, alongside a free educational section written for non-specialists.
LOOKS is created by Pawel Lipka, a painter and animator who has worked on The Garfield Show and on visual effects for the feature film Suicide Room.
