Ten selected poems will be displayed around Douglas city centre, encouraging both residents and visitors to explore creativity in unexpected places.

The Poetry Trail competition is open to all aged 18 or over, regardless of experience or background. Poets are encouraged to submit up to three original poems on any theme. Entries can be submitted by email to iompsoc@gmail.com The entry fee is £4 per poem. Full details of how to submit and pay the entry fee are on the Isle of Man Poetry Society’s official website www.isleofmanpoetrysociety.com .
Please ensure each poem does not exceed 25 lines and fits well on an A4 size page.

The Poetry Trail offers a unique opportunity for the ten winning writers to have their work featured in prominent locations in the city on A4 laminated sheets, reaching a diverse audience and contributing to the Island’s vibrant cultural scene. The 10 winning poets will also receive recognition at a special launch event, and all featured works will be showcased in Manx Reflections the poetry magazine published by the Society.
